My friends have all been raving about their Air Fryers, so I asked my husband for one for Christmas. I cooked fried chicken in it last night. it was so quick, easy, and the taste was amazing. I'm hooked! Just need lots more recipes.

I love cooking bacon this way. It is amazing. Will never cook on stove again. Who knew? Called and told my son. He is fixing to get an airfryer.

Have made the air fryer bacon and it's perfect! No mess, crispy and delicious! Watch the cook time as it can burn easily. Also, I recommend adding a slice of bread underneath the basket to absorb the grease and prevent smoking and flare ups!!

Hi Cindy, I have a 10qt. Power XL Vortex Air Fryer and I'm trying to learn to cook on it. I have wire racks. My question for you is how do you cook steak on the wire racks? I'm having a hard time cooking on this Air Fry. It is my first time cooking on it and the food came out hard! What happens to soft-cooked food? Is it possible to cook meat and it not come all hard? My cats wouldn't eat the meat nor would my son or my boyfriend would touch the steaks or the chicken wings. What did I do wrong? Please don't ask me about the time because I kept an eye on the meat and turned like I was supposed too and it still came out hard as a nail. I need help, meat cost too much for me to be cooking it like that. Help!!!!! Betty In Georgia.

Hi Betty! sorry for the delay in my response, I was out of town :). Yep it is possible to cook meat and not have it come out hard. Sounds like it was quite over cooked. I don't have that specific air fryer, but I do have an air fryer oven (made my Cosori) and I've tried a couple of other brands. I noticed that when I cook and use that air fryer oven it takes a little longer. There are several factors that come into play. If your air fryer pre heats, then you will probably need to reduce your cook time. The preheating works well with meat. It sounds like maybe the temp was a bit too high. You will also need to adjust based upon the thickness of your meat. I did some searching since I don't have this machine and I found a youtube video that uses what I think is your machine and it teaches you how to cook chicken wings in it:) https://youtu.be/4j6odqOO_TM I also suggest getting a meat thermometer. I never used one before but find its very much needed when using the air fryer. Be sure to check your food often so you can adjust the cook time/temp if needed. Its a bit of a learning curve until you get to know your machine 🙂

with this monkeybread can i add another layer of dough? i usually add 2 to 3 cans in my bundt pan for the oven i wanted to try it out in my air fryer which i love using?
Cindy
Hi Mary! Yes, you can, I would increase the other items as well, so that the sauce covers it all and it doesn't dry out 🙂
