Ingredients
1cancrescent rolls
6jalapenos
8ozcream cheese
1/2cupShredded cheese
1tspgarlic powder
1egg
24Candy Eyeballs
Instructions
Clean and prepare the jalapenos by slicing them open removing the seeds and endocarp (the whitish membrane that seeds are attached to), and rinsing the insides out. Try to leave the stem intact, it provides a perfect handle.
Roll out the crescent roll dough leaving individual rolls together. Pinch closed the perforations. Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll flat to 1/8" thick.
Cut slice longways to mimic mummy wrap. Set aside.
Add cheeses and garlic to a mixing bowl and whip until light and airy
Fill the insides of the jalapenos.
Wrap the jalapenos in the dough to mimic a mummy. You can overlap the dough, but it will expand so do not over-wrap the jalapenos. You want to be able to see the jalapenos under the wrapping.Whisk the egg and brush over the wrapped jalapenos.
Place in a parchment-lined air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes at 375°F/190°C or until the dough is golden brown.
Once cooked, remove and let cool. Place two candy eyeballs on each jalapeno, pushing into the cheese filling. Serve with ranch or the dip of your choice.
