18ozpack of cream cheese
4piecesBaconcooked well
3jalapenos
1/2cupShredded cheese
1tspsaltdivided
1tsppepperdivided
1tspgarlic powderdivided
1tsponion powderdivided
4largechicken breasts
1cupbreadcrumbsseasoned or not
Instructions
Prepare the jalapeno peppers by slicing them open, removing the seeds and endocarp (the whitish membrane that the seeds are attached to) to remove the heat from the jalapenos. Leave intact if you want the heat.Dice the jalapenos into small pieces.
Add cream cheese, shredded cheese, half of the spices, diced jalapeno peppers, and chopped bacon to a mixing bowl and fully incorporated. Set aside.
Cut along the side of the breast to form a pocket in the middle. Don't cut from end to end and don't cut through so you butterfly the breast.Fill the pocket of chicken with the cream cheese filling, eveny distributed btween the four breasts.
Season the breasts with the remaining spices and set them aside.Add the breadcrumbs to a shallow dish and place each breast on top of the brumbs to fully coat the breast.
Place the breasts in an oil-sprayed air fryer basket. Then spray the top of the breasts with oil. Filling pocket facing up. Press down slightly to form a flat bottom.Cook at 350°F/175°C for 18 minutes or until fully cooked.Remove from the basket and let rest for 5 minutes.
