2tbspmustardOr your choice of mustard
2tbspMayonnaise
1/2tspsalt
1tspgranulated garlic
1tspchicken seasoning
Instructions
Put mustard, mayo, salt and all spices in a bowl. Stir until you get a smooth marinade.
Rinse and pat dry the chicken quarters, removing any excess (for example, excess fat). Spread on all sides with the mixture of mustard, mayo and spices. If desired, you can cover the chicken quarters with cling film and leave for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.
Place the chicken quarters in the air fryer basket. Fry for 15 minutes at 400F/205C.
After 15 minutes, the chicken quarters will be well browned but still raw inside.
Flip the quarters to the other side and fry at 400F/205C for another 10 minutes. If the quarters are large, you may need to increase the frying time by another 5-7 minutes.
Serve the finished quarters immediately, while they are hot and very tasty. You can serve with a sauce of your choice (mustard, cheese, mayo, BBQ).
