You’ll love how easy it is to make Air Fryer Quesadillas just like your favorite Mexican restaurant. Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, you can’t go wrong!
Place ⅓ cup of cheese on the tortilla and spread it evenly.
Place another tortilla on top of the cheese/tortilla combination.
Optionally: you can spray a bit of oil on the tortilla to help it crisp up. If you want you can place a trivet on top of the tortilla so it doesn’t blow around in the air fryer or you can hold it together with toothpicks.
Air Fry at 350F/176C for 5 minutes. Flip mid way through cooking.
Cut air fryer quesadilla into triangles and enjoy!
If you are gluten-free be sure to confirm that the tortilla fits your needs. Aldi has great gluten-free tortillas that work well in the air fryer.
You can use any cheese of your choice, I prefer to use Mexican shredded cheese.
If you are using thick tortillas or adding additional toppings you may need to add more cook time.
Pro Tip: This recipe can be made in the air fryer unit with a basket or the air fryer oven. If you are using the air fryer oven, use the middle rack and select the "Air Fry" function.
