Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes.
Peel and mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl. Add softened butter, vegetable oil, white and brown sugar, egg, and vanilla and mix until well combined.
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the mixing bowl and mix until combined.
Grease your baking containers and add the batter to the containers.
Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 20 minutes.
Carefully remove your banana bread tins from the air fryer and cover them with aluminum foil. Return to the air fryer for 10 more minutes at the same temperature.

If you cook two pans at once, rotate your pans halfway through. This isn’t always a problem since air fryers are supposed to circulate air evenly, but every air fryer is different!
This recipe can be made in an air fryer unit with a basket or an air fryer oven. If you are using an air fryer oven, use the middle rack and choose the “Air Fry” function.
Check your food as it cooks. Each air fryer runs a bit differently. Make sure to check your food as it’s cooking to learn your air fryer better and avoid over- or undercooking.
