Add the frozen hash browns to a large bowl. Break up any large clumps.
Add the oil, salt and black pepper to the hash browns.
Toss until the hash browns are coated.
Add the hash browns to the basket of your air fryer.
Air fry at 380°F/190°C for 15 minutes. Flip the hash browns over and cook an additional 3-5 minutes, until browned and crispy.
Serve immediately.

Keep the Hash Browns Frozen until you're ready to add them to the air fryer. Thawing them will make them wet and mushy!
Salt and Pepper are enough to season these shredded potatoes, but you can add any other seasonings that you enjoy! Try garlic or onion powder for a savory boost. You can also reduce the amount of salt if you're watching your sodium intake.
Flip the hash browns once toward the end of the cooking time. If you prefer your potato shreds more broken apart, you can stir them gently about halfway through as well.
A 16-ounce bag of frozen potatoes fit perfectly in my Cosori air fryer. You may need to cook fewer hash browns or cook them in two batches if your machine is smaller.
