Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 4 minutes. Wash and dry the pumpkin.
Cut the pumpkin in half. Cut off the top and bottom.
Scoop out the seeds from the pumpkin.
Cut the pumpkin into half-inch slices and carefully peel off the skins.
In a large bowl combine the pumpkin slices, oil, and spices. Massage the spices into the pumpkin and make sure they are evenly coated.
Arrange the pumpkin fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 15 minutes at 360°F (180°C) flipping the fries halfway through. Sprinkle with more salt right after the fries come out of the air fryer.

This recipe can be made in an air fryer unit with a basket or an air fryer oven. If you are using an air fryer oven, use the middle rack and choose the “Air Fry” function.
