Nut Allergy? This recipe is very easy to adapt. You can simply leave the pecans out or you can sub in some seeds such as pumpkin seeds.

Skins or no skins - this is completely up to you! I don't mine how the skins turn out with this recipe but my husband does not like the texture. If you are a texture sensitive person, you can peel the apples ahead of time, however the apples might not hold their shape well.
Microwave - If you do not want to use your air fryer, you can cook these in the microwave. Simply swap in the microwave for the air fryer in step 4. Cook for 5 minutes, add toppings and cook 30 more seconds.
Apple Type - Any type of apple should work for this recipe. So go ahead and pick your favorite apple!
Reheating - This air fryer spiced apple recipe will reheat. I find it is best eaten the day of or the day after it is made.
