Air Fryer Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies are a delicious traditional cookie that is perfect for a holiday or for any time of year. Make these cookies in the air fryer in 7 minutes!
In a medium sized bowl, mix together the all purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix together the softened butter and peanut butter. It may be helpful to use an electric mixer. Then add in the sugars and mix until well combined.
Next, add in the egg and milk. Mix well to combine.
Slowly add in the flour mixture in small increments. Mix until just combined. Be sure not to over mix.
Roll about a tablespoon of the cookie dough into a ball. Then gently use your hands to flatten the cookies. Put the cookies into the air fryer basket or air fryer tray.
Air Fry the cookies at 350F/180C for 6-7 minutes.
Very carefully remove the cookies from the air fryer. Gently press an unwrapped kiss into the center of the cookie. The cookie will be delicate and still pliable. Use your fingers to mold the cookie back around the base of the kiss, if it has spread out.
The cookies need to rest until completely cool. This will help them strengthen.
Notes
If the dough seems dry (it might depending on the all purpose flour you use) you can add in 1-2 T more of milk until you reach the consistency you’d like.
Optional: You can roll the cookie dough ball in sugar before air frying.
Pro Tip: This recipe can be made in the air fryer unit with a basket or the air fryer oven. If you are using the air fryer oven, use the middle rack and select the "Air Fry" function.
