In a medium bowl, mix flour with baking soda and salt. Mix well and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add brown sugar, sugar, and softened butter and mix until creamy. Then add the eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined.
Slowly add the flour mixture into the creamed mixture. Then add the chocolate chips and mix again until well combined.
Prepare the air fryer basket by covering the bottom with foil and spraying the foil with oil. Preheat the air fryer.
Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out cookie dough. Roll each scoop into an even ball and place in the air fryer basket. Make sure to leave room around each cookie for expansion.
Air fry at 300° for 8 minutes. Once done, allow cookies to rest in the air fryer basket for 5 minutes and remove to a baking rack for further cooling. For thinner cookies, press down cookies with a spoon before they are cooled.
Continue cooking remaining cookie dough.

Make sure to leave enough room around each cookie, they will expand during cooking.
Refrigerate dough for up to 5 days. Cook a batch of cookies in the air fryer whenever you'd like to enjoy freshly baked cookies.
Freeze cookie dough in portioned balls. Allow to thaw before air frying as directed.
