I love making sausage links in the air fryer because the mess factor is way less.

There’s no splattering on my stove, no paper towels to soak up that extra oil. The air fryer basket cleans up easily in the sink or dishwasher, and the excess oil from the meat just drips away.

Sausages go well with things like Pancakes and French Toast. I think it’s the maple flavor and the saltiness of the sausage that are just meant to be together. Or you could make this Sausage French Toast Roll Up or some coconut cashew granola!

Serve air fryer sausage links with any of your favorite breakfasts or as part of breakfast for dinner, or “brinner”, as we like to call it.

Can I air fry frozen sausage links?

You can! Frozen sausage links are generally pre-cooked, so they won’t take quite as much time. Check on your frozen links after about 5 minutes. Then cook for 2 more minutes at a time until they are browned to your liking.

How many sausage links fit in an air fryer?

This is going to depend on your air fryer model. Here you can see that we fit just more than 12 links in our large Cosori basket model. We could have fit a few more, but it’s best to leave some space around each link.

If you have a tray or oven style air fyer you may be able to do two packages of sausage at a time.
