Recipe Overview

Making this Starbucks cream cheese Danish copycat recipe at home has been a head-turner for me. I no longer have to leave the house whenever I’m in the mood for this sweet treat, I can just simply grab a few of my pantry staples and make them in the air fryer.

A bonus for me is that I can freeze them too. So, I always have provisions in for when that craving hits.

  • Vanilla – A good pure vanilla extract is a must for this recipe.
  • Lemon – Using both juice and zest elevates the taste & texture in this recipe.

Storing leftover Danish

Once your dessert has completely cooled to room temperature, you can simply pop them in an airtight container or bag and keep them in the fridge for up to 5 days!

Or, put them in a single layer in a freezer-safe container, seal it up, and put them in the freezer. They’ll last in the freezer for about 3 months!

Reheat instructions

Remove your bag or container from the freezer and place it in the fridge to defrost. Once fully defrosted (this should only take a couple of hours), simply zap in the microwave for 10 or 20 seconds to warm up.
