Recipe Tips & Tricks
- Use cheese that melts easily. The best way to get perfectly melted cheese is to grate blocks of your favorite cheese at home. Pre-grated cheese doesn’t melt as quickly because it contains anti-caking agents that prevent the cheese from clumping together.
- Pair it with this Copycat Taco Bell Quesadilla Sauce. Uplevel your chicken quesadilla game with this creamy jalapeno sauce.
- Make it vegetarian. Swap the chicken for cooked veggies (such as sautéed onions or bell peppers) or fajita-style tofu, and this recipe quickly becomes vegetarian-friendly.
How to Store Air Fryer Chicken Quesadilla
You can store your chicken quesadillas in an air-tight Tupperware container in your fridge for up to 3 days. When you’re ready to reheat, just pop it in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-4 minutes, flipping halfway through.
What to Serve with Air Fryer Chicken Quesadilla

Dip this delicious air fryer chicken quesadilla in your favorite salsa—my go-to is this super-flavorful mango salsa.
