A bowl of Bananas and Cream Oatmeal will round off your simple, fast, and tasty breakfast and the whole family will be set for the day!

Storing leftover muffins

The muffins can be stored in an airtight bag or container in the fridge for 1-2 days. You should warm them for a couple of minutes in the air fryer before serving. They can also be frozen. Reheat from frozen in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes, or until completely defrosted.

Can I use paper muffin cups in the air fryer?

If the paper muffin cups are oven-safe, they can be used to line a ramekin or metal muffin mold. It is not advisable to use paper muffin cups on their own.

Can I use other fruit for this muffin recipe?

Yes, you can! Any fruit, such as raspberries, strawberries, diced apples, etc. can be used. As with the blueberries, the fresh fruit should be very ripe.

Recipe Tips

Top Tip: Use a cocktail stick to check your muffins are done. They can be deceiving if they are looking nicely browned on top, the check will make sure they are fully cooked throughout. If they are not, cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Top Tip: Be sure not to miss the step of adding a few blueberries on top of each muffin before cooking. It adds to the look of the muffins, giving them a ‘bursting with blueberries’ appearance.

Pro Tip: This recipe can be made in the air fryer unit with a basket or the air fryer oven. If you are using the air fryer oven, use the middle rack and select the “Air Fry” function.

Pro Tip: Check your food as it cooks. Each air fryer runs a bit differently. Sometimes airfrying is a trial and error process. Check your food as it cooks to learn your air fryer better! When cooking a new recipe or food items be sure to check your food often to help avoid over/under cooking.
