Tips and Tricks

  • Boil the seeds – You “can” air fry the seeds without boiling but we have found that it’s best to boil first.
  • You do not need to dry the seeds out before air frying. We fry the pumpkin seeds wet.
  • The pumpkin seeds do not fly around. That is a common question that we get. We’ve made this recipe multiple times and haven’t had that problem.
  • You can adjust the flavors. Add any spices you’d like.

You might be psychic: this recipe push couldn’t be better timed.

While I had a semi-pumpkin-soup fail (because we’re new to this town and our grocery store, and I couldn’t locate unsweetened coconut milk, accepted an employee’s help, and procured what amounted to heavily sweetened Goya coconut syrup… >_<), I saved the seeds to roast. Definitely doing your tip on boiling, and I'm thinking cajun spiced. <3
