Recipe Overview
We share lots of real, delicious air fryer recipes here, but I know that for many of us, the air fryer is for more than just cooking. It’s also for reheating things!
Learn how to reheat pizza in the air fryer, and I promise you’ll never go back to reheating leftover pizza in the microwave again.
The air fryer reheats pizza better than a toaster oven, the regular oven, or the microwave, and brings it back to its former tasty, cheesy glory. Whether your original pizza is take out or made at home in your Stoke Pizza Oven, this is a great way to reheat it!
Benefits of using air fryer to reheat pizza
It’s Fast! You get the same results from reheating pizza in the air fryer as you would in your oven, but in way less time.
Save Energy: No Need to heat up the whole house just to reheat a slice of pizza anymore! The air fryer is also great for reheating pizza in small spaces, apartment living, RV kitchens, or long stays at hotels.
It’s Delicious! The texture of air fryer reheated pizza is going to be way better than if you reheated it in the microwave. The microwave tends to overcook leftover pizza, while the air fryer perfectly warms it up, crisping the crust and re-melting the cheese.

Cold Pizza– All you need to reheat pizza in the air fryer is the pizza itself. This method works for reheating pizza that you ordered from a restaurant or pizza shop, pizza that you made from scratch, or frozen (cooked) pizza that you have left over.

FAQs
Starting at a high temperature ensures that the food I’m reheating doesn’t get overcooked or dried out while it’s hanging out in the air fryer waiting for the temperature to get hot enough.
No oil is needed when you reheat pizza in air fryer. Depending on the toppings you have on the pizza, there is likely enough oil on it already to crisp things up.
It is safe to put a pizza stone in the air fryer. Just be sure that the stone you plan to use will fit!
I don’t find that a pizza stone is necessary for reheating pizza in the air fryer though, and actually complicates the process a bit.
If you do decide to reheat your pizza on a pizza stone, be sure to put it in the air fryer while you’re preheating it so that the stone gets hot too.
If you’re reheating a very thick slice of pizza in the air fryer, there is a possibility that the toppings will brown up too much while the pizza is heating through.
Simply pull off the toppings before adding the pizza to the air fryer, and put them back for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking time.
