INGREDIENTS FOR AIR FRYER BREAD
Milk and Water: I love the combination of milk and water for sandwich breadโ it adds a bit of richness but still gives a light and fluffy crumb. Weโre using warm milk and water because yeast is more active when the dough is warm.
Butter: Butter also adds richness and delicious flavor to the bread.
Granulated Sugar: Granulated sugar is food for the yeast. Donโt worryโ this isnโt a sweet bread.
Instant Yeast: Yeast is what makes our bread rise. Iโm using instant yeast so if you use active dry, make sure to bloom it in warm water with granulated sugar (for about 5 minutes) before adding the rest of the ingredients
Flour: Flour gives the dough structure. Iโm using all-purpose flour but bread flour would also be great if you have it on hand!
Kosher Salt: Kosher salt seasons the bread so it isnโt bland.
Egg Wash: An egg wash helps the top of the bread become golden brown and shiny.

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER BREAD
- Add the water, milk, butter, granulated sugar, and instant yeast to the bowl of a stand mixer and whisk to combine.
- Next add the flour and salt to the bowl. Use the dough hook attachment to mix the dough on low speed until it forms a ball.
- Increase the speed to medium-low and knead the dough until it is soft and tacky. If the dough sticks to the bowl at any point while kneading, just sprinkle in another tablespoon of flour.
- Lightly oil your hands and remove the dough from the hook and bowl. Shape the dough into a smooth ball.
- Lightly grease a 6โ round pan with butter or nonstick cooking spray. Place the dough in the pan and then set it in a warm place to rise until doubled in size.
- Brush the top of the bread with the egg wash and place the pan in your air fryer basket. Bake as directed.
- Then carefully run a knife around the edge of the pan and remove the bread. Place the bread back into the air fryer and cook until the bottom is lightly browned and the bread sounds hollow when you knock on it.
- Allow the bread to cool completely. Then slice and enjoy.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH AIR FRYER BREAD
This Air Fryer Bread is perfect for brunch with a side of Air Fryer Sausage Patties and Air Fryer Sweet Potato Hash. Invite friends and family over and share this meal together, because brunch is meant to be enjoyed with those you love, right?
WILL BREAD BURN IN AN AIR FRYER?
To avoid burning, lower the rack in your Air Fryer or the bread could get overcooked and the top may burn.
HOW CAN I TELL IF THE INSIDE OF THE BREAD IS FULLY COOKED?
Tap the bottom of the loaf and it should sound hollow. If you have a thermometer, it should register 200 F internally when done.
HOW DO I STORE AIR FRYER BREAD?
Air Fryer Bread can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature, or frozen in the freezer for up to 3 months. Allow the bread to come to room temperature before toasting if frozen.
CAN I MAKE AIR FRYER BREAD WITHOUT A STAND MIXER?
If you donโt have a stand mixer, donโt worry! Just make steps 1 and 2 in a large bowl with a wooden spoon or a bread dough whisk (not a regular batter whisk). Then knead the dough by hand for 5-8 minutes and continue with the recipe as written.
