There is just something about creamed corn casserole that is a comfort food to me.
I have memories of my mom eating creamed corn over potatoes when I was growing up.
Over the years, I've grown to love creamed corn as well, especially when you it comes to this air fryer creamed corn casserole!

Ingredients for Creamed Corn Casserole
butter (dairy or non-dairy)
AP flour (can be gluten free all purpose flour or regular flour)
sugar
eggs
garlic salt
milk (dairy or non-dairy)
canned corn
canned creamed corn
HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER CREAMED CORN CASSEROLE
- In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour and melted butter. Whisk both items together until smooth.
- Add in the milk, beaten eggs and sugar. Whisk to combine.
- Dump in the garlic salt, drained whole kernel corn and creamed corn. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into an oven safe bowl. Put that bowl into your air fryer basket or on your air fryer tray. Air fry at 320F/160C for 40-45 minutes. Let casserole rest for 10 minutes, then enjoy!
WHAT IS CORN PUDDING?
There is certainly some confusion when it comes to corn pudding or creamed corn casserole.
From what I can tell, they are basically the same thing! So call it what you will.
May people use jiffy in their recipes to make jiffy corn pudding or jiffy corn casserole.
We just use all purpose flour and it does all the work. It also makes the recipe flexible to adapt to being gluten-free.
TIPS FOR CREAMED CORN CASSEROLE
Gluten-free? You can easily make this casserole gluten-free by using a GF All Purpose Flour.
Dairy-free? You can make this a dairy-free casserole by using dairy free or vegan butter.
This corn casserole reheats well! The leftovers taste even better the next day!

- ½ t garlic salt
- ½ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 can corn drained
- 1 can creamed corn
Instructions
- In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour and melted butter. Whisk both items together until smooth.
- Add in the milk, beaten eggs and sugar. Whisk to combine.
- Dump in the garlic salt, drained whole kernal corn and creamed corn. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into an oven safe bowl. Put that bowl into your air fryer basket or on your air fryer tray. Air fry at 320F/160C for 40-45 minutes.
- Let casserole rest for 10 minutes, then enjoy!
