Recipe Tips & Tricks
- Use egg molds to air fry the eggs. To get that perfect circular egg shape, use these air-fryer-friendly egg molds. They’re made of stainless steel and have a silicone handle that makes them easy to use. (If you don’t have egg molds, you can also use the outer part of a Mason Jar lid.)
- Turn it into a Sausage Egg McMuffin. Customize these air fryer Egg McMuffins with your favorite ingredients—swap out the Canadian bacon for regular bacon or a sausage patty, add avocado, tomato, or hash browns, and top it off with your favorite sauce.
- To save time, toast the English Muffins. To make this recipe even faster, toast your English muffins in the toaster while the Canadian bacon and eggs cook in the air fryer.
How to Store Air Fryer Egg McMuffin
These air fryer breakfast sandwiches are super easy to make ahead and freeze for a grab-and-go breakfast. Just follow the recipe, assemble your Egg McMuffins, and wrap them in parchment paper. You can place the wrapped sandwiches in a large gallon-size plastic bag and store them in the freezer for up to 3 months.
When you’re ready to reheat one for breakfast, just remove the parchment paper and air fry the frozen breakfast sandwich at 320°F for 7-8 minutes. Or, you can put them in the fridge the night before and reheat in the morning at 350°F for 3–5 minutes.
What to Serve with Air Fryer Breakfast Sandwiches
These air fryer breakfast sandwiches pair perfectly with a sweet yogurt parfait or some fresh seasonal fruit. You can also accompany an air fryer Egg McMuffin with some savory breakfast potatoes or crispy hash browns for a more filling breakfast.
Personally, I love having an air fryer Egg McMuffin with some fresh-squeezed orange juice in the morning—it’s the perfect way to start the day!

Frequently Asked Questions
If your Egg McMuffin was stored in the fridge, reheat it in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes. If your Egg McMuffin is frozen, it’ll need a little more time to reheat. Put it in the air fryer at 320°F for 7-8 minutes.
Canadian bacon tastes similar to ham. Since it’s made from cured and smoked pork loin, it’s softer and leaner than your typical bacon. You can find Canadian bacon in most grocery stores in the refrigerated section near the lunch meat or regular bacon.
Of course, you can easily swap the Canadian bacon for regular bacon, turkey bacon, or a sandwich-sized sausage patty. Simply air fry it according to the recipe instructions and add it to your breakfast sandwich.
