These air-fried chicken tenders are delicious.
How to Make Them
- Remove the amount of frozen tenders you want to cook from the freezer bag.
- Place the tenders into the air fryer basket (no need to oil unless you want to).
- Air Fry the frozen chicken strips at 380F/193C for 12-14 minutes. I typically let my chicken tenders rest for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove tenders from the air fryer and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
How to Tell When They're Fully Cooked?
Chicken is fully cooked at 165F/73C. You can use a meat thermometer to determine the temperature.
You can also tear a tender open to inspect it.
Tyson Frozen Chicken Strips Vs. Tyson Air Fried Chicken?
You can use both. Tyson is a great brand to select when you are going to make chicken tenders.
We've used the Tyson Frozen Chicken Strips and have had great luck.
We have also recently gotten the Tyson Air Fried Chicken.
What's neat about the Tyson Air Fryer Chicken is that it actually gives you air fryer directions right on the package.
Can I Stack Them?
I would advise against stacking your frozen chicken strips in the air fryer.
You can stack the chicken pieces side by side but do not layer on top of each other.
You want the circulating air in the air fryer to be able to touch all sides of the chicken.
Choosing Your Sauce
The dipping sauce is key when you are having chicken strips!
We have a few dipping sauce recipes for your to check out: Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce and Easy Homemade BBQ Sauce
